Footy Finals Fever - The best BBQ recipes to impress your guests this Grand Final!

Fire up your BBQ on Grand Final Day and cook up a storm with our burgers, pork knuckle sangers and BBQ nibbles!

It's hard to believe we're already at the end of the 2022 football season, but here we are!

Nothing brings friends together like the AFL Grand Final, and we've put together some tasty BBQ recipes to keep the action going.

So, whether you're celebrating or commiserating, we've sorted your game day food!

Finger food is always the best choice for the footy finals; it's easier to jump in the air with a chicken wing than with steak!

If you're the jumping sort, that is!

Burgers are always a must too!

Once you've chosen the recipes you like, look at the cooking instructions. Some of these recipes need to be cooked with the indirect heat method, so plan ahead and think about which burners you will need to fire up.

If you aren't sure how to cook with indirect, check out our article here!

Beef & Halloumi Burgers

Once you've cooked these beef and halloumi burgers, you will want to eat them every weekend for the rest of your life!

They are deliciously moreish!

Buy the best beef you can find, and don't skimp on the fat content.

The best burners contain around 30% fat.

Hey! It's Grand Final Day, no time to worry about your waste this week!

Slow Cooked Pork Knuckle Sandwiches

The pork knuckle needs a long slow cook. So get these on early!

The pork becomes gelatinous and sticky.

Sumac, Lemon, & Thyme BBQ Chicken

Sumac is a Middle Eastern spice that has lemony undertones.

It's a dried and crushed berry with a beautiful flavour and deep reddish colour.

Try adding a pinch to a balsamic and olive oil salad dressing.

We love Baby Rays Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce and Mad Dog Spicy BBQ Sauce.
