1 tbsp ginger, grated

1 tbsp garlic, crushed

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp cracked pepper

2 tbsp sesame seeds, pluse 1 tbsp to serve

Fresh coriander, to serve

Turn your flame to medium and let your BBQ heat up.

Place all ingredients in a large bowl except for the chicken wings and sesame seeds and mix well.

Add the chicken wings to the marinade and massage it into the wings, marinate for 30 to 60 mins.

Place them on the grill and cook for 3 mins with the hood closed, turn, then add the sesame seeds to the cooked side. They will stick! Close the hood!

Cook for a further 3 mins, turn, reapeat sesame seeds.

Turn flame to low and cook for a further 3 min each side.

Sacrifice one by tearing the skin to ensure they're cooked.

If you see blood near the bone cook a little longer, if not take them off and serve with another tbspy sesame and coridaner

TIP: I always keep chicken wings in my freezer. To defrost the wings quickly without using a microwave, place the unopened pack in your sink and cover it with cold water. They’ll defrost in a third of the time.
