Makes 4 large patties

800g Good quality beef mince

A big handful continental parsley, chopped

1 tbsp Season-All Spice

1 tbsp cracked pepper

1 tsp coarse salt

1 clove garlic, crushed

8 slices bacon

4 burger buns of choice, we’ve used butter buns

2 avocadoes, smashed with a fork

4 slices haloumi, about 1.5cm high

Place mince, parsley, season-all, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and gently mix to combine.

Divide into four equal portions and gently roll into a ball then, flatten gently into a thick patty, place in the fridge ideally for a couple of hours.

Preheat your grill to high heat. Preheat your grill plate to medium-high heat.

Cook the bacon grill plate to your liking and set aside loosely covered with foil.

Rub the patty with olive oil; season the outside of your patties heavily with salt and pepper. Place on the grill, close the lid and cook for about five mins.

Turn the patty and cook for a further 3 mins or until almost cooked to your liking.

Place the bacon on top of each burger, top with cheese and close the lid to let it heat through.

Slice rolls in half lengthways and cover the base with avocado, add the patty and replace its lid.
