Chilli Salt Edamame Recipe

The Bangkok Eatery - one of Melbourne’s great Thai restaurants, inspires this recipe.

Now we are well aware that this isn’t Texan BBQ but it matches so well we can’t help but include it!

This chilli salt edamame recipe is the perfect accompaniment to any BBQ food or fried chicken!

Ingredients: 

1 tbsp coarse salt

1 tbsp dried chilli flakes

1 bag frozen Edamame

2 tbsp olive oil

 

Method:

 

Heat BBQ flat plate to medium flame.

Place salt and chilli flakes in a mortar and pestle and pound well.

Drizzle edamame with olive oil and tumble onto grill plate.

Cook, turning, for 5 mins toss through chilli salt and serve.
